As this Forbes article points out, Pittsburgh is home to sustainable buildings, businesses, and even art installations. Pittsburgh is home to:
- the largest “green wall” in the country- a 2,380 sq. ft. soil based public art piece
- the Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel, a mixed-use and Gold level LEED certified structure
- and the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens just opened a LEED Platinum certified research and education complex.
